    Perfect and beautiful, dark and brooding. Killer round of petrified conifer. From the Yakima River canyon in Washington state. It comes out of one of the finest collections of petrified wood in the Northwest! Perfect, liquid, glassy polish. Preservation is perfect, and is wonderful under the microscope. Awesome agate. This is a museum quality gem! 7 3/4 x 6 1/2 x 7/8". This round is old school thick! I have been collecting wood for 30 years, and this is as good as it gets. The wood from the Yakima Canyon is from logs dug in the 50's and 60's. No longer open to collecting. It is some of the best Pacific Northwest petrified wood, which is saying a lot!.
