Oil preheater FPHB 5 #030N1201
The FPHB oil preheater is used to preheat heating oils up to max. 10 cSt (mm²/s) used. FPHB 5 is designed for oil burners up to 50 kW.
Application:
FPHE oil preheaters are designed for oil burners with a throughput of up to 6 kg/h standard fuel oils of up to 10 cSt. The preheaters are available with different heating elements and thermostats to choose the release time and temperature.

cold start:
When the boiler thermostat cuts in, voltage is applied to the PTC heating element and the oil in the heat exchanger is heated until it reaches the cut-in temperature of the oil heater thermostat. The burner will now perform a normal start.
warm start:
If the oil temperature in the preheater is above the switch-on temperature of the thermostat, the burner starts up immediately.
When the oil temperature is low and the throughput is high, compared to the performance of the oil preheater, the preheater can
switch off the thermostat during operation. To prevent this, an oil burner control with a hold function must be used.
