McDermitt round!!***Beautiful and Unusual***Top Shelf!!

Beautiful round of petrified wood. Really cool grain patterns. Identified as just a dicot with no vessels, which, from McD, usually means Trochodendron. Not common. From the classic location McDermitt, straddling the Oregon-Nevada border. It comes out of one of the finest collections of petrified wood in the Northwest! Perfect, liquid, glassy, mirror polish. Preservation is perfect, and is wonderful under the microscope. Beautiful agate in shades of brown and chocolate. 6 3/4 x 4 x 3/8".  I have been collecting wood for 30 years, and this is a beauty. Looks like it was cut from a tree yesterday! If you only have room for one McD, this would be a good candidate! Ships USPS priority.
