GLITTERY 9 " PETRIFIED " BRILLIANT" WOOD, ALABAMA

Description

This is a nice  crystalized petrified wood  specimen from Brilliant, Alabama ( Coker Formation)  The age of the specimen is approximately 90 million years old ( Cretaceous Period). Unlike most petrified wood , quartz crystals are part of the replacement.
This specimen is MUCH MORE GLITTERY in real life !!!
