    Description

    Beautiful, striking round of petrified wood from the classic location Sweet Home petrified forest in Oregon. Species is unknown.
    A lot of wood is found at the Sweet Home dig. It covers a huge area, with many varieties represented.
    It comes out of one of the finest collections of petrified wood in the Northwest! Perfect, liquid, glassy polish. Preservation is perfect, and is wonderful under the microscope. Beautiful agate in shades of brown, black, white, and rust. Cool and unusual rind of white agate around the perimeter. Great size.  7 x 6 3/4 x 1/2". I have been collecting wood for 30 years, and this is as good as it gets. The best. Ships USPS priority.
