    Description

    Fabulous little chunk of Blue Forest Wyoming petrified wood. Excellent visible wood grain and botryoidal chalcedony. Cut ends can be polished to a soft sheen and the detail is a showstopper. Great addition to a fossil, rock or mineral collection or for research, teaching, or educational purposes.  Photos taken dry and wet to give an idea of the look when polished.
    Approximate measurements are 2.5" x 1.75" x 1.5".
    Blue Forest wood dates to the Eocene and is approximately 33-56 million years old.
