    Fabulous branch segment of Blue Forest Wyoming petrified wood. Excellent visible wood grain and two sides covered with botryoidal chalcedony. Great addition to a fossil, rock or mineral collection or for research, teaching, or educational purposes.  Photos taken dry.
    Approximate measurements are 4.75" x 1" x 1.25".
    Blue Forest wood dates to the Eocene and is approximately 33-56 million years old.
